This sensorial work trains the stereognostic sense. It exercises the muscles of the hands and arms to distinguish between identical appearing wires that have a range of flexibility. The four wires in each set have different degrees of flexibility. By bending the wires with both hands, the child can match the red and blue wires that have the same degree of flexibility.
